On christmas day in 2002, Skyebox was gifted his first CD, "Highway to Hell" by AC/DC. Feeling inspired by the groups hard rock sound, he started learning every instrument he could. He was in a multitude of  local bands, and played dozens of venues in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana. After his last group "Lethargic K9" disbanded in 2008 at the age of 14, Skyebox decided to make music as a solo producer after being inspired by the song "Ravers Fantasy" by Tune Up. He then spent the next few years producing two full length albums, with the original version of "Dream Girl ft. S3RL" being on the second release. Both albums have since been lost to time, with "Dream Girl" and "Deep Blue" being the only two still available on YouTube thanks to fans re-uploading his music.

Even with the loss of his original music and limited reach as a teenager, Skyebox continued to produce faster and harder EDM songs that pushed the boundaries of what the genre meant at the time. His unique sound captured the ear of producer RIGGL3, who asked to collab on remaking his hit song "Dream Girl", which went on to be Skyebox's biggest hit. To this day, he continues to push out fist pumping, melodic happy hardcore songs for his decade long fans, because to him, they're the ones who truly make the scene special.
